Why can't my colleague open the shared application?

This help article explains why a colleague might be unable to open a shared application and how to resolve common access issues.

If a shared application cannot be opened, this can have various reasons:

1. Release has expired

  • The link to the application is valid for a limited time.

  • By default, the release expires after 4 weeks.

  • After expiry, access is no longer possible - the application must be released again.

2. Tenant Restrictions

  • In a client system, applications cannot be shared between different subsidiary clients.

  • Check whether your colleague works for another client.

  • Sharing is only possible between the main and sub-clients, not between two sub-clients.

3. Wrong link or no access

  • Only the link that was sent directly from the system via email works.

  • A copied or forwarded link is not valid.

  • If the application has since been deleted, access is no longer possible.

Tip

If your colleague cannot access it:

  • Check whether the link is still valid.

  • Ensure that you are working within the same tenant.

  • If necessary, share the application again using the official sharing function.
