Integrated Reporting based on Matomo

image

Starting with Release 30, the dashboard will be enhanced with integrated reporting based on Matomo.

Matomo is an open-source web analytics platform previously known as “Piwik.” This software allows tracking and analyzing visitor data on your career page and landing pages.

The advantage of Matomo is its focus on data privacy. Unlike other analytics tools, Matomo allows complete control over the collected data. Matomo is used with the “AnonymizeIP” extension, meaning that IP addresses are only used in anonymized form. The IP addresses transmitted by your browser via Matomo are not merged with other data collected by us. Therefore, no direct reference to a person can be made, and no personal data is processed.

No data is sent to servers outside the control of softgarden, as Matomo is used in the on-premise variant, and the data is stored exclusively by softgarden.

Metrics

image

To evaluate the performance of your career page or a landing page, you have 5 main metrics available.

  1. Visitors
Number of visitors to your career page or a landing page

Important: After 30 minutes of inactivity, the same visitor is counted as a new visit.

  2. Job ad views
Number of views of modern job ads

  3. Application form views
Number of views of the new application form

  4. Submitted applications
    Number of submitted applications

  5. Conversion
Percentage of visitors who applied (“Visitors” divided by “Submitted Applications”)

The data refers to the last 30 days.

In the "Job Ads" tab, you can analyze the performance of your job ads.

For this metric, modern job ads must be activated. Learn more

For each job ad, the following dimensions are available:

  • Page views

  • Unique page views

If a visitor views the same job ad multiple times during a session, it is counted only once in the unique page views.

  • Bounce rate

The bounce rate indicates the percentage of sessions in which users left the website after viewing a job ad without visiting any other pages.

  • Average time on page

The average time on page measures how long a visitor spent on a specific job ad. This helps assess whether the visitor thoroughly read the job ad content.

  • Exit rate

The exit rate is the percentage of users who left a specific job ad, regardless of the number of pages previously visited.

Technology
