What is the corporate signature macro used for?

This help article is about using the company signature macro, which automatically inserts the correct client-specific signature into emails sent by the system.

The “Company Signature” macro is used to automatically insert the stored company signature into emails sent automatically by the system. It ensures that automatically generated messages always contain the correct, client-specific signature - without you having to add it manually.

Important: The macro is not used for manually sent emails. Messages sent manually do not contain an automatic company signature.

How does the macro work?

  • The macro automatically inserts the company signature of the currently selected client (location).

  • This means that the correct signature is always used for the respective location.

  • The signature only appears in emails that the system sends automatically (e.g. automatic confirmation of receipt, automatic rejection).

Where do you store the company signature?

The company signature must be maintained separately for each language and each client.

As an administrator you can find the settings under:

Path: Settings → Overview

There you can store or adapt the signature for each location and language.

In this area for sub-tenants, please note that before making the adjustment, you can select each sub-tenant individually using the drop-down menu at the top right and thus store and adjust individual company signatures.

Why should you only use the macro?

  • Only the macro should be used in automated email templates.

  • Manual signatures must not be added additionally, as this can lead to duplication as soon as the system automatically appends the signature.
