In this article, we explain how to set images for your job list and display them on your Career Page Pro. The images you select here apply only to the preview in the job list; they do not affect the layout or content of your modern job posting.
You can learn how to design a modern job posting here: "Modern Job Postings and New Application Form."
The job list is an overview of all the jobs you have published on your Career Page Pro.
Job Image Manager
Some components, such as the job list, display images corresponding to the job category or job layout. You can manage these images using the Job Image Manager. You can find it in the general settings of your Career Site Pro.
First, you determine whether the images should be assigned to specific job categories or job layouts. You can change this at any time.
Important: The Career Site Pro accesses the job categories stored in the applicant management system. If you wish to change these categories or add new ones, you can find further information under: "How can I configure my job catalogs?"
Assign new images or delete existing ones
After deciding whether to assign images based on job categories or job layouts, click the entry in the list that you wish to edit.
You will then see all currently saved images associated with that entry.
To replace an existing image, click on the corresponding image row.
To delete an image, click the gray "X" icon; the icon turns red when you hover your mouse over it.
You can change the order of the images using drag-and-drop: simply click the three-line icon on the right side of an image and drag it to the desired position.
If you would like to add additional images, scroll all the way to the bottom and select the green plus icon. You can upload as many images as you like.
Don't forget to save your changes for the respective entry!
Special feature: Fallback image
The fallback image is used automatically if you have deleted all other images from the list. You can change it, but you cannot delete it.
Publishing changes
Once you have finished making and saving your changes, you must confirm the publication. Clicking the "Update all images" button applies your adjustments and publishes them.
FAQs
Image size and format: To ensure your images display optimally, make sure they are at least 800 x 450 pixels in size. The appropriate aspect ratio is 16:9. If your image is not in 16:9 format, it will be automatically cropped.
I uploaded new images, but they aren't showing up. Once you have saved your new images, you must click the "Update all images" button. Only then will the images be automatically assigned to the jobs and published.
Why aren't any images showing up in the job list at all? In this case, you have either enabled list view or disabled image display in the component settings.
Can I also use the images in the applicant management system when creating jobs? No, that is not possible. The images are available exclusively in Career Site Pro.
Where can I create additional job layouts? You cannot create additional job layouts directly within Career Site Pro; you need to switch to the applicant management system to do so. To understand how the integration works, please read the article "Modern Job Ads and New Application Form."
