Even if a user is tagged in the team chat, notifications may not occur. This is directly related to role settings and visibility rights in the system.
Note on Notification Logic
Notifications are only sent if the relevant person has access rights to the affected area.
Without visibility of the team chat within the role, no notification occurs—even with a direct mention.
Background: The system generally only sends notifications about content that is visible to the respective role. This ensures data-protected and structured communication.
What does this mean specifically?
As an administrator, check your colleague's role configuration if they should receive team chat notifications.
A prerequisite for email notification, in addition to the corresponding role authorization, is that the colleague has activated the notification type "New comments on an application" in their personal settings.

Additionally, they should not have deactivated email notifications in general (by selecting "No, I do not want to receive the newsletter at the moment").

Only when the appropriate visibility in the system is given will a notification be triggered upon mentions.
