How can applicant emails sent to the personal address be stored in the system?

This help article is about how applicant emails can be manually stored in Softgarden to personal email addresses.

Updated over 2 months ago

❗ Since the solution described here is a workaround, we recommend ensuring that no email address is included in the email signature when setting up Softgarden in your company or adding new colleagues.

In Softgarden, emails from applicants that are not sent directly to the system but to your personal email address can be manually added to the correspondence.

Here's how to proceed:

πŸ“Œ How to add external emails to correspondence:

1️⃣ Open the application of the relevant applicant in the Softgarden system and select the "Write email" entry in the emails tab at the top right.

2️⃣ Now send a message to yourself.

3️⃣ Now reply to the message you sent yourself in your email program and copy the content of the received applicant email.

4️⃣ You will now find this message under the emails of the application. Note that the entire job team will be informed about a message from the applicant.

πŸ’‘Note: Manually added emails are visible to all authorized users who have access to the respective application.
