In Softgarden, you can efficiently integrate applications from various sources into the system.
📖 Procedure: Adding an Application to a Job
1️⃣ Open the relevant job and click the "+ Add Application" button at the top right.
2️⃣ Now select the appropriate method to add an application to the job.
Here are the three ways to add mail or email applications:
🖥 1️⃣ Import: Automatically Capture Applicant Data
Use the Drag & Drop method to import the application documents directly:
✔ Simply drag the applicant's CV into the import field. ✔ Supported formats: PDF, DOC, or a photo of the CV. ✔ The applicant's data is automatically read and transferred into the system using a modern CV parser.
💡Tip:
Verify the captured data after import to ensure all relevant information was correctly transferred.
If the parsing delivers incorrect or incomplete results, you can manually adjust the captured information.
❗Important Notes:
Textkernel must be activated for CV parsing in advance for free via the Marketplace by a person with the role JUST-HIRE ADMINISTRATOR for the main client and, if necessary, for subsidiary clients.
For security reasons, the email address is never read.
No compendium files should be uploaded—only the pure CV.
✍️ 2️⃣ Enter Data Manually
If you wish to enter the applicant data yourself, you can manually record them as usual.
✔ Enter all relevant information manually into the respective fields. ✔ This method offers you maximum control over the entered data.
💡 Tip:
Use this option if the import function is not ideal for specific formats or illegible documents. If applications are submitted handwritten or in an unsupported format, you can manually input and upload additional documents.
📧 3️⃣ Forward Application via Email
Applications can also be directly forwarded to your system via email.
✔ Forward the application email including attachments to the appropriate address. ✔ The application is automatically stored in Softgarden. ✔ A detailed guide on using this function can be found here.
💡Tip:
Ensure the email is sent in a supported format so all data can be captured correctly.
📝 Entry Channel for Manually Added Applications
For manually added applications in Softgarden, the entry channel is defaulted as "Manually Added".
