What is it about?
The contact person is automatically pulled from softgarden: the frontend API provides data on the current job owner for each job. Depending on how the data is maintained, your website can display information such as the name, email address, or phone number.
Here’s how to proceed:
Set the correct owner in softgarden.
By default, the person who created the position is the owner.
You can change the owner either during creation or at a later stage:
Open the recruiting team → select the desired user (the "Recruiter" role is required at a minimum).
Website displays contact person
When retrieving a job via the "Single job by ID" endpoint, the owner details are included.
Your website then displays these fields as the contact person.
Notes
Changes do not take effect automatically: If you change the owner in softgarden after the job has been published, you must refresh the listing on your career page. Only then will the contact person be displayed correctly upon the next retrieval (please consider caching).
Data protection: Display only the contact details you actually wish to publish. Alternatively, you can use a generic recruiting email address.
Multiple contact persons: Only one job owner can be transmitted via the API.
