Who is responsible for setting up new user roles and permissions?

This help article covers the responsibilities for setting up new user roles and permissions, as well as the associated administrative requirements.

Setting up new roles and adjusting permissions can only be done by people who have administrative access to the system settings.

👥 The following roles are usually responsible:

  • Super administrator

  • Just Hire Administrator

  • Individually customized/manually created roles, provided they have been assigned administrative access to the system settings

These groups of people have the authority to carry out the following tasks:

  • ➕ Creating new roles

  • ✏️ Edit existing roles

  • ✅ Enable or remove permissions

  • 📄 Copy or delete roles

ℹ️ Note: Roles created manually can also be given administrative rights. In this case, the same responsibilities and responsibilities apply to them as to the standard administrators. Changes should therefore always be carefully checked and documented to ensure secure rights management.
