How can I adjust which emails I receive from softgarden?

This help article covers setting up and customizing your notifications in the softgarden system.

In softgarden, you can decide for yourself whether and in what form you wish to receive notifications. All settings are specific to your account—meaning you can configure notifications only for your own account, not for other users.

If you are unable to adjust your notification settings

This is because the permission to enable or disable system emails has not been granted.

If you have the administrator role, you can enable this permission as follows:

  1. Open the role management section at https://my.softgarden.io/de/management/roles

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the relevant role and select "Edit."

  3. Scroll to the very bottom of the "Additional permissions" section.

  4. Check the box for "Enable/disable system emails."

  5. Save the changes.

Once this permission is enabled, the affected users will be able to adjust their notification settings as usual.

In what format can I receive notifications?

You can choose how each notification is delivered to you:

  • Separate email – You receive each notification individually via email.

  • Summary – You receive a daily or weekly overview via email.

  • Web – You are notified of new activity directly within the system (web notification) without receiving an email.

What affects email delivery?

Emails are sent only if the following conditions are met:

  • You have the appropriate role in the system

  • You are part of the job team

  • Your email settings are enabled

  • You are the job owner (some notifications go only to owners)

Not receiving emails?

This could be due to the following reasons:

  • You are not part of the job team

  • Your email settings are disabled

  • Your role does not allow access to certain statuses

  • You are not the job owner

  • The email ended up in your spam folder

💡Tip: Check your settings regularly so you don't miss important updates!
