How do we proceed with a deletion request from an applicant?

This help article addresses the deletion of applications and candidate accounts, as well as the recommended security measures.

Persons with the role assigned to you as JUST-HIRE ADMINISTRATOR and persons with the corresponding role authorization can delete applications in your system.

1️⃣ Open the relevant application.

2️⃣ Click on the three dots in the top right corner.

3️⃣ Click on the "Delete application" entry in the menu.

4️⃣ Confirm the question: "Are you sure you want to delete this application from the position?"

πŸ”“ Self-deletion of the account in the job portal

Applicants can irrevocably delete their account in the job portal via the menu "Settings" β†’ "Delete account".

The applicant must finally confirm the security prompt by clicking the "Yes, delete account" button.

πŸ—‘οΈ Our recommendation before deleting an application

We recommend matching the security code in the application when deleting an applicant account. This step ensures that the deletion is authenticated and prevents unauthorized access.

ℹ️ The security code is displayed within Softgarden in an application under the "Application" tab in the "Personal data & application details" section, after clicking on "More details".

Applicants can find the security code after logging into the job portal under the menu "Settings" β†’ "Security code".

To verify your identity and properly complete the deletion, we need your personal security code.Please log into the job portal [Link] with your login details: Log in with your username and password. The link to the job portal can be accessed in the settings area "Overview" β†’ "Company information" via the entry "Subdomain name". We recommend sharing the link with applicants that is generated after accessing the job portal and clicking on the "Login" menu.
