If you have received a notification in the softgarden app or got a email from our service provider Cronofy, this indicates that reconnecting your calendar to the Smart Calendar may be necessary.
If you have previously connected your calendar to use the Smart Calendar feature, you have already authenticated directly with Cronofy.
In October 2026, Cronofy will perform a technical update. This update will require Outlook and Microsoft users to reconnect their calendars. You may have already received an email from Cronofy about this. If you have already reconnected your calendar, all Smart Calendar features should continue to work as usual.
If you haven't yet reconnected, you can easily do so at any time within your softgarden account.
Option 1: If your calendar was disconnected
Go to "My Account" on the top right of the application:
Select "Calendar" in the top right corner and "Calendar Accounts" from the submenu and click on "Reconnect"

Option 2: If your calendar connection was removed
Go to "My Account" on the top right of the application:
Select "Calendar" in the top right corner and select "Calendar Accounts" from the submenu.
After clicking on one of the providers, you will be redirected to our partner Cronofy and will therefore be outside of softgarden. Then log in to your calendar provider.
Option 3: "Active" is displayed in the Calendar Accounts section
Even though the account is still active at the moment, it will be deactivated sometime on 01.10.2026. To make sure the connection stays in place permanently, delete the connection and reconnect your calendar.
Go to "Your Account" at the top right
Select "Calendar" and then "Calendar Accounts" in the submenu, and click "Edit accounts"
Remove the account by clicking the "x"
Add the account again
You may need permission from an internal administrator to successfully connect your calendar.
After successfully logging in, you will be redirected back to the softgarden system. Your connected calendar will now appear in the list of linked calendars. You also have the option to add more calendars to be included in the availability calculation.
