What Are the Filter Options in the “Applications” Section?

This help articles describes the various filter options that can be used by users in the "Applications" section of softgarden.

In the applications section, various filters are available to help you quickly and precisely narrow down incoming applications. The structure follows the layout of the article on filtering options in the jobs section. All filters can be combined to tailor the view perfectly to your needs.

Header filters

Job/Team filter

You can find this filter right next to the job search in the top filter bar:

  • All – Admin — shows all jobs in the entire system (relevant for admins only)

  • All — shows jobs where you are the job owner or a job team member

  • All my jobs — shows jobs where you are the job owner

  • Invited — shows jobs where you have been invited as a job team member

The following additional filters are available:

  • Job — filters applications by the associated job

  • Location — filters applications by the location of the respective job

  • Application step — filters by the current step in the application process

  • Owner — filters applications by the job owner

  • Company — filters by the company associated with the jobs

Additional filters (via the "Additional filters" button)

Use the "More filters" button to select additional criteria and further refine the application overview.

Additional filter criteria

  • Rating — filters applications based on the assigned star rating

  • Tags — filters by assigned keywords

  • Source channel — filters by the channel through which the application was received (e.g., internal, external, referral)

  • Updates — shows applications with recent changes

Checkbox filters (additional selection options)

  • Upcoming interviews — shows applications with a scheduled interview

  • AI matching — filters for applications with an active AI matching result

  • Paused — shows applications that are currently paused

  • Disability — filters applications where information regarding a severe disability has been provided

Saving filter sets

To reuse frequently used filter combinations more quickly, you can save custom filter sets. This is particularly helpful if you regularly work with the same criteria—such as specific locations, application stages, or job teams.

How to save filter sets

  1. First, select the desired filters from the header bar or from the options available under the "More filters" button.

  2. Then, click "Save filter."

  3. Assign a unique name to your filter set.

  4. The saved set will now appear in your filter list and can be activated at any time with a single click.

Managing filter sets

  • Clicking the pencil icon allows you to rename an existing filter set.

  • Sets you no longer need can be removed using the trash can icon.

Important note

If no jobs—or very few—are displayed despite having filters set, other active filter sets may be restricting the selection too much. In this case, use the "Reset" function to clear all filters and then select one of the four main filters again.

Note regarding missing or insufficient results

If no applications—or very few—are displayed despite having filters set, other active filter sets may be restricting the selection too much. In this case, use the "Reset" function to clear all filters and then select your desired filters again.

Tip

The filters can be combined in any way to optimally narrow down the list of applicants—especially helpful when there are many active job openings or multiple locations.
