Applicants can upload or delete their attachments themselves
Upload: Yes. Applicants can not only upload documents when submitting their application, but can also send them to you via email as an attachment. The incoming files are automatically assigned to the respective applicant profile and appear there in the “Attachments” tab.
Delete: No. Applicants cannot delete their uploaded documents - neither initially submitted documents nor subsequently added attachments.
Why can't initially uploaded attachments be deleted?
Initially submitted application documents may not be deleted for reasons of data consistency, documentation requirements and traceability. This applies to all roles in the system:
Members of the job team
Administrators
These documents always remain in the applicant profile.
What to do if an applicant has accidentally uploaded the wrong attachment
If an applicant has uploaded the wrong document (e.g., the wrong CV or certificate), it can only be deleted by softgarden’s technical support team.
Who can request deletion: Only administrators are authorized to contact softgarden support to request the deletion of an incorrectly uploaded document.
Who can upload or delete attachments in the applicant profile?
Within the applicant profile, attachments uploaded after the initial application can be managed by:
Administrators
Members assigned to the specific job team
These users are permitted to:
upload additional documents
delete attachments they have uploaded subsequently
delete attachments subsequently uploaded by applicants via email
Attachments subsequently uploaded by an applicant via email are marked with an "X" icon and can be deleted by clicking on it.
Important: Documents initially submitted by the applicant cannot be deleted.
Summary
Applicants can upload attachments but cannot delete them.
Documents submitted initially cannot be deleted for technical and legal reasons.
Incorrectly uploaded attachments can only be removed via softgarden Support – and only administrators can submit such requests.
Administrators and job team members can upload additional attachments and delete documents that were uploaded subsequently.
