Headline & Text
Headline & Text is a bread-and-butter component and is typically used multiple times on your career page.
We recommend (also for SEO reasons) describing in two to three sentences directly after the key visual what makes the work environment special at your company.
Text Formats
The following formatting options are available in this component:
Emphasis: Bold and italic
Please note that when using custom fonts, the corresponding font styles (bold and italic) must be uploaded for these styles to be effective in the text.
Text alignment: Left-aligned, centered (default), right-aligned.
Please note that for readability reasons, the text alignment on mobile devices is always centered.
Colors: You can assign any color to the entire text or individual words. The colors are defined in the “Design” tab. First, select the text and then click on the circle with the color to color the text.
Links: Links can also be set in the text, which can open either in the same (default) or in a new window.
Galleries
A picture is worth a thousand words.
With a gallery, you can present your company to your applicants in the best light. You have three gallery types available.
Slider
A typical gallery format – the images are displayed one after the other in a carousel. Captions can be added.
Justify (popular option)
This gallery type displays all images at once and tries to present these images in an exciting visual rhythm.
Masonry
This type is a variant of Justify and displays the images while maintaining the original format.
Gallery: Slider
This gallery type displays the images in their original format in a 16:9 container.
If you want your images to be displayed without gray bars on the sides or top and bottom, please prepare them in a 16:9 ratio and consider the minimum pixel size (1920x1080px).
Gallery: Add Images
You can first upload all images and then decide on a gallery type.
There is no maximum or minimum number of images – if you add only one image, the carousel function will automatically be turned off, and the arrows will be disabled.
For SEO reasons, we recommend adding both a caption and the so-called alt text.
Gallery: Justify & Masonry
These two gallery types work on a similar principle. All images are displayed side by side in a mosaic layout.
Tip: We recommend using different image formats – portrait, landscape, and square – to achieve a varied layout.
Additionally, you can adjust the spacing between the images with a slider.
Videos
You can embed videos by either inserting a YouTube or a Vimeo link. The links must be generated via the share button on YouTube or Vimeo and then fully copied into the component.
Your videos on YouTube and Vimeo must not be set to “private” but to “public” or “unlisted”.
Both services require cookies, which are accordingly listed in the cookie consent banner integrated on your career page.
Videos: Options
You can embed a single video. However, the video component also supports multiple videos displayed in a carousel.
For SEO reasons, we recommend adding a caption.
Additionally, you can also set the color of the play button. The colors are defined in the “Design” tab.
