Why should I update the posting date?

The posting date indicates when a job ad was published or last updated. Updating it can be useful if the ad is still relevant and should appear as new in search results.

The update of the posting date applies to both the standard job portal and, if booked, the Career Page Pro.

Job ads are always sorted from old to new — the newest job is at the top. This sorting is fixed and cannot be adjusted individually.

Initial Situation

You have an older job posting for which you would like to update the posting date.

Step-by-Step Guide to Update

1️⃣ Log in to your softgarden account.

2️⃣ Open the "Jobs" section and select the job for which you want to update the posting date. Then click on the "Job Boards" tab.

3️⃣ Click on the three dots in the row of your own job board.

4️⃣ Select the entry "Renew Ad."

The posting date will now be displayed with the current date in your own job portal and the job posting.

🔄 Automatic Updating of Job Ads

With the "Automatically update job ads" feature, your ads are automatically updated at regular intervals. You can set the update interval via the dropdown menu.

📌 Important: This feature applies exclusively to your own job portal.

🛠 Path to activate the feature: Go to the settings area "Job Boards" and select the entry "Job Boards." There you can activate the toggle button for "Automatically update job ads."

👤 Who can activate the feature? Activation can be done by a person with the assigned role "Just-Hire Administrator."
