Notice from Indeed – "Your job posting is no longer displayed on Indeed"

This help article covers notifications from Indeed informing customers that a free job posting is no longer visible on Indeed due to a policy violation.

Why did I receive this email from Indeed?

Indeed sends this message when a free job posting violates Indeed’s Terms of Service (Section D.4). Moderation is carried out either:

  • automatically by Indeed’s systems, or

  • manually by Indeed moderators.

Typical email content:

  • Notification of a policy violation

  • Information that the job posting has been removed or restricted

  • Recommendation to post the job as a Premium job posting

  • Option to appeal via "Contact Indeed"

Important: These notifications apply only to free job postings that Indeed automatically retrieves from softgarden.

Free vs. Paid Indeed Listings

Free listings

  • Posted automatically

  • Subject to moderation or removal by Indeed

  • softgarden has no influence on moderation decisions

  • In case of issues → file an appeal directly via "Contact Indeed"

Paid listings

  • Actively posted via the Media Service team or through bookings

  • Not automatically removed

  • In case of issues → Media Service team contacts customers directly

  • Customers do not need to file an appeal with Indeed themselves
