The Quiz component is a great way to introduce important topics to your candidates in an unusual and entertaining way.


Ask your career page visitors some questions, e.g., about your company culture or history, and offer answers that can be selected in multiple-choice mode.

All answers can be marked as correct in the editor if it better fits your concept.


Intro: Icon

The intro screen allows you to place an icon above the headline.


The following options are available for the icon:

  • Disable icon

  • Upload your own icon
    A square image in PNG format with a transparent background is required.

  • Use one of the three provided icons

A well-chosen icon helps visitors recognize this component as a quiz.


Intro: Headline & Button

Headline


The quiz needs a concise headline. Try to keep it short so it can be grasped in a few seconds.


Determine the text alignment and color of the headline that fits your theme.


Button


Label the button meaningfully and choose the color.


Intro: Background

It is advisable to fill the background with an appealing image to capture the visitor's attention.


Upload your own image or choose one from the offered stock images.

Alternatively, the background can be filled with a solid color.


Add Questions

Now it’s time to add the questions. You can enter any number of questions.


Click the plus symbol to do this.

It is recommended to use no more than five questions in the quiz to maintain visitor attention.


Configure Question

The following fields need to be filled out for each question:

  • Font color in the question counter
    The counter is placed above the question

  • Question
    Keep it short!

  • Background
    Again, you can choose between an image and a solid color.


Add Answers

At least two answers must be added to each question.


Click the plus symbol to do this.

It is recommended to add no more than five answers per question to maintain visitor attention.


Configure Answer

Each answer consists of:

  • Answer text

  • Optional description
    If you want to provide more details about your answer, add a description.

  • Option to mark the answer as correct.

All answers can be marked as correct in the editor if it better fits your concept.


Outro: Headline & Background

After all questions have been answered, the outro screen displays the number of correctly answered questions.


You can customize or completely change the headline on this screen. Please note that you can optionally use the following variables in the headline:


%correct% – Number of correctly answered questions
%qty% – Total number of questions


A variable text that you entered in the "evaluation" tab will be displayed below the headline.​


Configure Outro Button

Next, configure the button on the outro screen. The following options for setting the button function are available:

  1. Link

  2. Email

  3. Auto-scroll to job listings

  4. Scroll to component
    Scroll to any component with a click on the button

  5. Apply for a job
    Open an active job ad directly with a click on the button

Of course, you can also customize the button color.


Evaluation

The evaluation logic is kept simple. The quiz participant is shown the text on the outro screen that corresponds to their result. The following options are available:

  • 100% of the questions were answered correctly

  • ≥75% of the questions were answered correctly

  • ≥50% of the questions were answered correctly

Enter the desired text in each field.

Tip: You can enter the same text in all fields if you don't care about right or wrong answers.
