Job Subscription
In Release 30, a new component was added that allows your prospects to subscribe to a mailing list. As soon as a new job is posted and the job category and/or target group match the selected setting of the prospect, this person will be notified by email about the new job.
This feature is now also available in the job list in a similar form and can be activated in the job list settings.
We recommend using the job subscription only once on your career page, either as a standalone component or as a button in the job list.
Configuration
First, configure the texts of the job subscription component:
The following formatting options are available:
Highlights: Bold and italic
Please note that when using custom fonts, the corresponding font styles (bold and italic) must be uploaded for these highlights to be effective in the text.
Text alignment: Left-aligned, centered (default), right-aligned.
Please note that for readability reasons, the text alignment on mobile devices is always centered.
Colors: You can assign any color to the entire text or individual words. The colors are defined in the "Design" tab. First, highlight the text and then click the circle icon with the color to color the text.
Links: Links can also be set in the text, which open either in the same window (default) or in a new window.
In this tab, you can also set the button color.
Custom Colors
In the content tab, a switch for custom colors can be activated. Here you can set the colors for all elements and states of the job subscription component:
Privacy checkbox color
Privacy text color
Active input field border color
When the user clicks on an input field, it is highlighted with a border color. Adjust this color here.
Form
Here you define which form fields your prospects can or must fill out:
Job category
Target groups
By selecting specific job categories or target groups, the prospect can define their job preferences precisely.
You can also make these fields optional or disable them completely. In this case, the prospect will be notified by email about all new jobs.
In this tab, you can also set the background color of the form.
Set Background
In this tab, you have the option to choose either a background color (default) or a background image.
If you choose a background image, you can upload your own image or use one of the predefined images.
Please note that the motif should not be placed in the center of the image, as it would otherwise be covered by the form overlay. It is best to choose an abstract motif.
Set Overlay
The form is underlaid with a white, transparent area (the color can be adjusted in the "Form" tab) to increase readability without affecting the visual impression.
The degree of transparency and blur can be adjusted in this tab.
Thank You Page
If the prospect successfully subscribes to the job subscription list, a thank you page is displayed.
In this tab, you can define your own texts for the thank you page.
Job Subscription in the Job List
An elegant way to draw the prospect's attention to the subscription function is to display it directly below the job list. By clicking on the new "Subscribe to job offers" button, the form opens.
This way, the prospect can subscribe to the mailing list directly when looking for suitable positions and not finding any.
The CTA area also contains the button for unsolicited applications by default. You can disable the entire CTA area if necessary, or enable and disable the buttons individually.
Configuration
The job subscription form in the job list offers essentially the same configuration options as the standalone component:
Here you define which form fields your prospects can or must fill out:
Job category
Target groups
By selecting specific job categories or target groups, the prospect can define their job preferences precisely.
You can also make these fields optional or disable them completely. In this case, the prospect will be notified by email about all new jobs.
In this tab, you can also change the button label and color.
